Welcome to TheWoodenBoy's DeviantArt Gallery!
I intend to use DA gallery as a retrospective to show where I've been as an artist up till now (as opposed to a portfolio of best and recent pieces), so as for me this is mainly for recollection's sake, and for you I hope it will be a source of inspiration and entertainment!
As for introductions, I am a digital artist from the USA living abroad on the Asian continent while making character art, illustration, graphic design, and 3D art & animation. Oh, a pretty decent pencil/pen sketcher, too.

I once served as a Professor of Computer Graphic Design at Chungkang College of Cultural Industries in South Korea, have worked as a 2D/3D game art & animation artist, and have taught courses in 3DsMax as an online instructor. These days, I work in the field of education utilizing my creative skills while doing art and design on the side.
I've been creating art since 1989 and this gallery reflects my personal pursuits as an artist as well as the professional. It is my nowhere zone to somewhat chronicle my journey up to this point - although, I have not necessarily structured gallery folders in a chronological manner!
Despite doing diverse kinds of digital art projects, my focus is toward my character designs and illustrations, yet I find time to do commissions for clients requesting my other skills as well. Other than art, my other passion is martial arts. I am a master in various styles and you'll find that martial arts is a common theme in my work. But, generally speaking, I just really like making wacky characters.
